Diagnosing AC issues

Yesterday, I had to stomp on my accelerator to get myself out of a problem, and my AC stopped blowing cold; I also thought I smelled something, but it could have been other smells from the road.

The fan itself still works, both on Auto and on manual fan speed settings. I ran the self-diagnostic twice and got slightly different results. First run, I got the bottom and bottom right of the first eight, which (According to my research, at least) is:

I : Bottom right of first 8 -- An open in the driver's air mix control motor circuit
K : Bottom of first 8 -- Problem in the driver's air mix control linkage, door, or motor

The second test, I just got the bottom of the first eight; the bottom right did not get lit up.

I verified on a quick drive that neither driver nor passenger side are blowing cold, just what outside air temp is.

Erg... Hit post before I was done...

Anyways, does anyone have any ideas on further diagnostics to run and/or what all that might mean?

Next step is to run a test on the mix motor:
