Dash dimming wont stay

Whenever I put the dash to the dim/brightness setting I want, it wont remember the setting next time I drive. Is this a setting in the MID or somewhere else? Am I missing something?

I did a search but couldn't find anything...

when you set the dim to where you want it, set the driver one setting button on the door again. that will set the dim and the seats to whenever you unlock the car.

It shoudl stay even without setting it to the specific drivers setting. I set mine to the lowest light output and i just stays there. You also have to remember that if your headlights are on the setting will be different than when they are off. Turn the headlights on, set it, then turn them off and set it. Then you should be fine.

Not sure what year TL you have, but at least according to the 04 owner's manual, the panel brightness setting is not in any way controlled by the driver's memory system.

Jokerman is correct: It should stay in the setting you left it in for the appropriate light switch setting (e.g. headlights on or headlights off).
