I was driving today. Then I noticed my D light flashing. I put the car on park and it was still flashing. I then turned the car off, the flashing stopped. 2 hours later it started again. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this?

I have a 2005 with 45k. I'm screwed cause I dont have warranty.

I did some research and some guys said they had the same problem and it was only a bad switch. Im really hopeing its something simple like that, or else im Fu(%ed

thats kind of odd, I was test driving a 2006 tl the other day and the D light was flashing, they called be back to tell me the issue as I was interested in buying. It was the 3rd clutch pressure switch, not an expensive fix I believe..But it did make me think twice before buying..

You should be under warranty still, at least until 50k.

Usually that LED blinking means your tranny's going.

That usually means tranny, but you never know. I just went through this yesterday on my TL. Something ate the wiring harness on the tranny and the computer read it as a transmission failure.

Unless you're mechanically inclined(I'm not) bring it in and find out what's what. If it's not shifting funny you atleast have the opportunity to shop around if you don't like what the dealer says.

yea it was the infamous 3rd gear. Acura charged me 380 but I brang it down to 325. To later find out there was a DYI here...

yes it was . It was a rape even if I chose not to do it there, They were gng to charge me $119 for the diagnostic. They usually do the diagnostic for free, I was shocked when the sales rep told me that if I did not get the work done I would have to pay the diag. fee.
