I have a 2006 acura tl and my cruise control does not work with I have my headlights on can someone please provide clues on the cause and how I can track this down? Cruise control works when headlights are not on.

No, but really.. I have no idea. That is quite the odd situation.

 

I had the exact same problem and mine turned out to be a bad LED board in one of the tail lights. Try disconnecting one taillight at a time to see if it works. If it works with one of the tail lights disconnected then that's your problem. Hope this helps.
