Cranks no start, car can be bump started

Hello everyone! I am hoping someone has run into this issue before. A quick summary of the beginning of the problem. My car appeared to have a bad starter. I replaced it, then the battery was bad. I replaced the battery, then the car stopped cranking. I replaced the ignition switch. Now the car cranks super strong but will not start. I have been parking on hills or on flats to bump start and I am getting very very tired of it. I have checked most of the fuses and relays for the ignition system and I checked fuel just in case. Does anyone have any other ideas what could be happening?

Thanks!

Are you getting a flashing green key icon on your dash? Could be the immobilizer at work. Just not sure if the immobilizer would prevent bump starts.

I purchased a remanned starter. It did start with the starter intermittently which is why I swapped the ignition switch. Original problem was nothing when turning the key and the old starter didn't have continuity on a multimeter. I replaced my battery cable ends when I got the new battery. I tested the new one battery a few days ago and it is in spec and no corrosion on any of the contact points.

My guess is that reman starter is no good. My luck has been hit or miss with reman parts.

I went with the Remy on Rock Auto, I have the manual so my options were more limited. It came with a year warranty so I will contact them and see what they can do.

If we assume it isn't the starter, where would the next place to check be?

check all your connections make sure none are loose!

Are you hearing compression when trying to start the car? I wonder if the teeth in the starter are not engaging the flywheel if the starter is loose or something is wrong with the reman starter. That would give a strong starting sound but no start since the engine isn't turning.

It ended up being a connection that was slightly loose. I found this out because when the temp dropped the car fired right up. It's the small rubber/plastic connection at the top of the starter.

Thank you everyone for the advice!
