Cracked dash removal-2005 TL
Yes, many owners did receive good will assistance from Acura. The % depends on your relationship to your Acura dealership and if you used a good will once before. Other factors like original owner, if you owned multiple Acura's before ect. You must call Corporate to file a complaint. They will tell you that you need to go to your local Acura dealership and have them diag. the issue (which clearly there is nothing to diag..). You may pay the 1 hour fee. At that point the service advisor and service manger work something out with corporate on assisting you. It's really the service manager who makes the real decision. Acura will claim this is "New" to them and they never heard of this issue before. A dealership might be up front and tell you it's common. Keep in mind, even a new dash can crack since the design and or material never changed. I also had my dashboard replaced by a local dealership who covered the labor cost and only 10% of the dashboard cost, I paid the rest out of pocket. Good luck!

Just bought a 2005 nbp TL and its dash is cracked in several places. I am going to remove it and see what I can do about a cover or some other type of fix.
Putting another dash in only cost a lot of money and sucks knowing it will crack again.

I have had my 04 a few weeks now and when I got it I thought the lines were intentional since they looked kind of cool till I noticed they were cracks, lol. I do not have the time to replace it or the funds so Playdoh it is lol. Crazy to think they all have such similar issues. Cracking, headliner among other issues. At least it has good millage and gets me to where I need.

ok guys so this is a really old thread but i wanted to clear some stuff up! i have the instructions for dash removal i have the entire service manual if anyone wants a copy pm me. also fibreglassing anything inside the car is a bad idea as it will warp from the heat so that a no go unless you plan on using as a show car and keeping it indoors all the time. but anyway free copy in pdf format for anyone that needs the 04-08 service manual for your tl.
