Couple issues and my dealer, please help.
Thanks for taking the time! I have acura care and it still has about 1k miles left. '05 TL.
I recently had an O ring in my power steering replaced by the dealer, they said it was the cause of my whining/droning when it gets cold. Two months later the power steering starts whining/droning again! I took it back and they said the reservoir and hoses are leaking and will cost 150 to replace the hoses... I want to know how they didn't catch that to begin with? How does the res and hoses leak and cause the power steering fluid to drop in a month after they perform work on it? Did they cause the leaking by replacing the O ring?
Also, after they replaced my transmission (kicking between 2nd and 3rd) about 3 weeks later the D-lite blinks and I cant manually shift, that cleared after about 30 minutes. I took it in and they said soda was spilled in the mode switch and will cost me 429 to clean!
How on earth does soda get spilled into a mode switch?
I also find it very fishy they worked on my power steering and my transmission, and a couple months later my tranny and power steering have issues again.
Any thoughts?

transmission light blinking means that there is an internal problem and the code can be read via HDS (honda diagnostic system) to determine the exact problem.
as far as your power steering, go to the service manager and tell him exactly that and that you refuse to pay for it after they looked at it and tried fixing it and failed.

Also, I have no idea how something could be spilled on it. They are refusing to cover it under warranty because of this supposive spillage from soda or a drink.... Where is the mode switch even located?
