Speaker Static

Hey folks. It's been getting a little cold down here in the mornings, and just recently, I've noticed that my passenger door speaker is throwing out a lot of static. I played around with the balance settings and confirmed that all my other speakers are just fine. The problem is gone when I start my car up again after work. I've also not had this problem in previous winters.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Are you using your rear window defroster in the morning? this has been known to create some static.

I am! I had never heard of that issue; I'll give it a shot on Monday morning and report back. Thanks!

I noticed it whenever I turn on the rear defroster. Is there a fix for this?
