console trim

I scratched my console metal trim today. anyone know the best place to get new one and how much it costs? Will try to remove damaged piece tomorrow. Maybe I can replace it myself?

Dealership. You could also try one of the sponsors here. It takes about 5 minutes to replace.

Good luck!

If you have time, and feel new parts cost is to high...you may search a few used parts vendors or junkyards.

Even get some extras for furture interior dings.

It's a bit expensive. List is around $96, your cost is around $76 for item 5 or 9.

How would you remove those trim pieces? I was thinking about buying the short shifter and i think i saw something about having to take off one of those panels.

I used a butter knife wrapped in cloth to remove it. Started from the end loser to the arm rest and just gently pried up on it until it came out. You have to be pretty careful so that you do not break it.
