I recently installed my RSB and now when i drive over a speed bumb or a dip or hill in the road, it sounds like the back of my car is about to fall apart.
It kinda sounds like a NYC cab when you hit a bump and you hear that annoying squeaking noise.
Does anyone know what can be causing this??
BTW i installed the energy bushings also (non greaseable)
Thanks in advanced,

When you say bushings, are they the black rubber things you take off from your car? When I installed my RSB, I followed the instructions and used the stock one's and they fit fine and don't make any noise.

Hes talking about the aftermarket energy suspension poly bushings. Not the rubber ones that came with the RSB.Originally Posted by SilverUA5

I have this same issue... when I regreased the bushings it went away, but came back like 3 weeks later. I plan on buying the greasable ones now so i dont have to take them off everytime I want to grease them up. One of the members here said that if you buy longer bolts from Home Depot or wherever, then you dont need to cut the washers to make the greasable ones fit...

"Non-greasable" doesn't mean you dont have to grease them, it just means they don't have the easy built in grease fitting. The ones you have came with a tube of special grease (or should have) to grease the inside of the bushing...did you grease them?
If not, then remove the bushings...my technique was to put on a latex surgical glove (available at Home Depot) dip it into a can of marine grease and coat both the bar and the inside of the bushing liberally with grease.

CTS-V Import Slayer
I have never had a problem. It was installed following the directions using the parts the directions recommend?

Man I would have to see how you installed the RSB. It had to be one of the easiest things Ive done on my car. If you used the energy bushings and greased them and you are still having problems?? It had to be something you did on the install. Remove it and start all over. Do exactly what gqchicago said.

You might want to try wrapping parts of the bar that touch the bushings with teflon tape. I did the same on mine and it's been over 7 months now with no noise at all.
Thanks for the input guys, tomm afternoon i will tr to put more grease on it, i have a feeling i didnt put enough.
If that dosent work ill try the teflon tape
and if that dosent work ill order the greaseable ones and see if there is a difference.
Ill post tommorow to let you know the outcome.
