Coil Pack Bolts

So, while changing my spark plugs yesterday, I managed to shear off the bolt holding in one of my coil packs. Does anyone know the part number for these or installation/removal process?

Do they thread in? Like would I be able to back it out with a bolt extractor and then tighten a nut onto the new one all the way down and torque it in with a deep socket, then back the nut off? This sucks. It's one of the back ones, too, so whatever the procedure, I'll have no room at all to work.

I know this isn't the first time this has happened.

Somebody has to have some insider information. I just got the car and have yet to get myself a Helm manual.

Are you talking about the hex key bolts? Was that the first one you tried? They just unscrew, try one of the front ones.

allen head bolts- use screw extractor as you had figured already
look at parts store- or good hardware store may have the same, or dealer locally so you get it back in now

with the coil removed can you grab the broken bolt with small vise grips and work it out

or if there is enough threads exposed to double nut it and back out that way

remove a front so you can see what length you are dealing with

I don't know what hex key bolts you're talking about these just have nuts threaded over them and hold the coil pack onto the head. There are several threads exposed but not enough to get two nuts on there.
