clutch is slipping on my 6MT TL

hey guys im new to owning a TL and just recently my clutch was slipping. i have been looking around for a DIY guide for changing clutch. but nothing so far..anyone got a link? i would like to change my clutch this week because i can really smell the clutch burning....and no i will not take it to a shop so they can sucker me out of 2k

^the manual states that you have to drop the sub frame.
although, my mechanics didnt do that. they found a different way of going about it.

if youre mechanically inclined and intuitive than you can get it done.
but, I dont believe there is a DIY available.

my shop did not charge me $2k.
I bought the clutch kit online from acuraoemparts.com for about $250 and had a local shop install it for $400.

for about $700, I have a new clutch installed without having the trouble of doing it myself.
I'm pretty mechanically inclined but without a lift and proper tools, there was no way I was going to get it done in 2 days.

you need a special tool for the clutch disk or flywheel i forget which. Otherwise you risk damaging something.

Sorry it's early but i'm pretty certain you need a special tool.

oo jezz if theres a risk involed i'll take a pass. although im mechanically inclined i dont want to risk spending more than 1k on my beautiful TL hard time paying it off as is...thanks guys

^shop around...indie mechanics can do it for cheap!
I only paid $400 for labor.
