Thank you. I passed on whatever he was saying about the back plate o ring he speaks of. I did have them do the rear main seal and the axle seals since the transmission was out. He came down to 87 for both of those. He was saying something about my left upper and front transmission mounts needing replacing. But again couldn't clarify. So at this point since there is no knocking or problem shifting, I will have my husband look at those. Also the fact that they are completely accessible. Thank you for your reassurance. I was kind of second guessing myself and the dealer at this point. So I shall see when I get it tomorrow.

Very important!

If you told them to replace the rear main seal and the axle seals, and since there seemed to be confusion in the communication between you and the service Rep, before you take delivery of the vehicle, go over the invoice with the service person and make sure that part #'s for those 'seals' are, in-fact, present. They should be listed within the 'line item' description of the service(s) you had performed. Have them point them out to you.

rear main seal; 91214-RCA-A01
axle seals; 91206-P0Z-005; 91205-P0X-005

Don't take their word for it, that they installed them, make sure the part #'s are listed, that way you can question/verify, at that time of review before delivery, whether they were installed and catch any discrepancy that may be present.

No problem. Everyone is wondering whether you sprung for the OEM clutch/PP/flywheel or did you go with the LUK kits from an aftermarket retailer? Either way is fine as long as it makes you feel assured/happy.

They cracked the flywheel bolts and had to order new ones. Don't worry, free of charge the guy tells me! lol. so i won't know the final until monday. thank you for all your links and help!

Always always replace the flywheel. Hopefully it's not too late, but there have been many threads wherein people resurfaced instead of replaced, and after a few months to a year later, they had to take it back to the shop to get the flywheel replaced anyway. Shell out the dough now to avoid headaches down the road later, but it sounds like you're already getting the flywheel replaced.

Take it from my 1st hand experience, replace the flywheel when you do the clutch. Rockauto's prices are cheap enough, so DON'T SCRIMP!

FWIW, I'd have them replace the broken trans mounts as well and have them check the motor mounts while they are at it.
