Cloudy Dashboard even after Aerospace 303

My dash was fine before I tried to clean it. Is there a certain way to apply the Aerospace 303 protectant? My dash is getting cloudy after the application.. any help will be much appreciated.

Did you clean the dash with Honda/Acura vinyl cleaner or a Woolite solution first, before applying the 303?

The 303 Aerospace is a protectant, not a cleaner; the ashy dash is a result of residue "outgassing" and should be cleaned before use of a protectant.

Also, the 303 Aerospace should not be applied to the dash directly-- put it onto a towel or applicator pad for wiping down the dash.

G/L!

Take a damp cloth and wipe-down the dash.
Dry with towel, repeat 3x.
Then take a solution of Woolite, 6 parts water, 1 part woolite. Spray onto towel and wipe the surface down. Repeat twice.
Then wipe down the dash again with a damp cloth 2-3 times and then dry.

This will clean up the dash and remove a bit of the stuff that makes it look cloudy. 303 will protect the dash from UV rays and what-not and give it back it's dark color.

Spray 303 onto a MF Towel.
Then wipe the dash down with the MF Towel.
Let sit for a few minutes, then wipe off excess 303 on dash with a dry MF Towel.

NEVER apply 303 directly to a surface, always spray on a towel first.

Stuff from the dealer works the best out of everything I've used.
