I have a machine gun like noise for about 10 minutes from cold start and then it is gone. Sound is comming from the engine but I cannot pin point it. Not a whinning noise or clanging noise but rather a machine gun like noise. Belt looks fine, and it is completely gone after about 10 minutes of driving or idle. Anyone experienced with this before I go to dealer? Car has 77k miles. I purchased with 60k miles. Thanks

 

only machine gun sound i've ever heard from any of my vehicles is when i forgot to put the exhaust on a motorcycle. you may have an exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold that is getting sealed up when the engine is warmed up...
