Lightbulb Clock not working - which fuse to disconnect?

Hello - I have a minor issue with my 2005 TL that is driving me NUTS: the clock above the factory navigation screen is NOT accurate by several hours. I tried looking for ways to set it in the navigation menus but I the menu options refuse to adjust the time. Whenever I disconnect my car battery (which I just did to replace the battery), the clock resets to 1PM. My strategy to fix this might seem simple: which FUSE under the steering wheel powers the clock? What I would like to do is disconnect the user until 1PM and then plug it in. Ideally I would do this without disconnecting the battery all together.

Please stop the insanity and help me fix this issue:

If you have the 'glove box' owners manual, look at the index in the rear under 'fuse' and some info should be there.

I don't know if there's a fuse but the trick is to connect the battery at 1:00 on the dot.

I ran into this same issue a few months ago, where you can no longer use the nav buttons to change the clock. I do not recall there being a confirmed fix to the issue, it may simply be a hardware failure related to the age of the car.

I still have hope, considering the "minute" side continues to keep time, it's just the hour side thats like 6 hours off for me.

Weird same here - started a few months ago... Same here where the hour / minute moves just way off and resets to 1:00 when battery is disconnected.

FOUND THE FUSE !!!! For those with navigation on the 05 Acura TL the fuse is #7 (which is labeled "backup"). This controls the clock along with navigation, power locks, etc. if you pull the fuse you can always plug it back in at 1:00 to get the clock to reset

Talking AM or PM

Be sure to set your alarm so you don't miss the one-minute window!

What do you mean? Lock the doors before pulling the fuse?

He meant to put your alarm on the phone / alarm clock so you don't miss the 1pm / 1am, or you will need to try again in 12 hours.

Haven't you been following all the nearly endless posts on here about the clock issue with the '04/5/6 Nav? Disconnect and connect all the fuses you want.
It's a bug that Acura will NEVER fix. The ONLY real solution is to upgrade to the '07/8 Nav system by replacing the Nav DVD unit and screen. I did it, and have never looked back! These items can be found on ebaY.

twice a year you will need to pull the fuse or disconnect battery at the correct time in order to have the clock be accurate, Or tear apart the dash and spend hundreds. your choice

It's that time of year - pulling that magic fuse and putting it back in worked. Love it.

Fuse trick worked

Thanks to everyone who figured out the fuse trick. Did it today and worked like a charm. Still thinking of doing the 2007 nav upgrade, but for now I can sit tight and spend $$ on Xmas stuff.

I have an 08 TL type-s and am having the same issue with my clock. I bought the most recent Nav DVD update from Acura and it fixed nothing. I'm gonna try the fuse trick because this clock issue is driving me crazy lol.

After a while after reset, the clock on my 05 TL reverts to the correct time, just an hour behind. The minutes are correct but like stuck in daylight savings time or another time zone. Like the time is stored in memory somehow, and will fix itself just an hour behind. So weird
