Clicking/tapping sound when going over bumps

Who can I turn to to get help with silencing the cabin? Are there any companies that specialize in this kind of thing? This is driving me crazy.

I notice in your sig. that you own a TL-S. Is your noise coming from the rear of your car?

Have you ever seen this thread? https://acurazine.com/forums/car-talk-5/04-supercharged-tl-150981/
There are 689 posts of people complaining about their clunking rear suspension.

Your car also "pings"? Your car = LEMON.

I really hope these tired Acura owners (you) rise up, and make Acura pay, and build better cars.

If you think that's bad, how about Ford? We bought a brand new Escape in 01. By 02, we were on our 3rd alternator, and out seat belt buckles (amongst other things) were recalled and replaced with big ugly ones because in the event of an accident, there was a chance the seatbelt would un-clip itself and send you through the windshield.

THAT'S bad.

~Cheers~

Well, actually it is bad. It's one thing to buy a Ford escape, but it's an entirely different thing to buy an Acura TL-S, pay 37k for it, and have iot be a lemon. Expectations might be "sightly" higher for the Acura buyer.

No it is coming from behind my left ear, seems like the rear driver side door somewhere. It is very subtle, but little sounds like that drive me nuts.

My car pings intermittently. I have tried many times to get help, but acura basically gave me the finger. Needless to say, I will not be buying another. I also had the famous 3rd gear problem, which they seemed to fix, and a bad starter which needed replacement.

are you running 91 octane and Tier 1 brand gas like chevron texaco shell 76?
Check the door fit and weatherstrip-
Clean-wax- the painted metal of the body where it will contact the rubber seal, and use silicone spray on the rubber weatherstrip itself.
Check for something in the window to felt seal for damage or debris
- do you have tinted windows- with a film on the window?
Look for any loose anythings in the sunroof
There are sound deadening materials in squares and rolls if you want to kill road noise or are doing speaker mods
