Recently I've noticed that my 08 tl-s makes a clicking sound when I am releasing the clutch. I just wanted to make sure if this is normal or something wrong.

In this thread they talk about creaking/clicking sounds but mine only has a clicking sound from outside the car.

Your thoughts?

Mine has already had the clutch master cylinder replaced (@ 8000 miles). I was told it was because of a creaking sound. Check with your dealer.

 

Thanks Johnny B i'll definately look into that. Upon further research I also found that the symptoms of clicking can be associated with needing to replace the clutch master cylinder or even a throw out bearing.

Anyone else confirm this?

 

Keep the info coming.. I reported this same thing while at the dealer for a trans fluid flush the other day and of course I couldn't recreate it while the technician was in the car. Does it 90% of the time, and it's extremely evident while driving around parking ramps since the noise echos around inside the ramp structure.
