Clicking from rear suspension..

My 04WDP has had this annoying clicking sound for quite a while now, when ever I go over any bumps in the road, sounds like 2 pieces of metal rattling together. Anyone else have(heard)of this little quirk? It's really noticeable when the you go over a bridge, because of the sound is reflected back at the car from the concrete or whatever solid object the bridge(barrier)is made of. I thought maybe the calipers and brake pads..any help is greatly appreciated.

Making sure to eliminate the obvious, have you checked the spare tire compartment to make sure the spare tire and all the tools are secure and you are not hearing them rattle when going of bumps?

rear suspension noise

I'm sure the sound is coming from outside the car..not within..plus it seems to be on the right side only.

I figured out where this is coming from on my car. I opened the rear doors and and wiggled (with some pressure) the silver door latch hook that is mounted on the rear quarter panel. When I wiggle mine it makes that "clicking" or "clanking" sound. Both sides make this sound when I wiggle it, but only one side makes the sound when I go over bumps. Now I noticed that the latch tension on each of the rear doors is different. The one that makes the sound while driving has more tension on it. Sure enough, if the door on that side is "wiggled" up and down, the door causes the latch to create the sound. I'm going to try and adjust the door latch to see if that works.
