"Check Fuel Cap" within hours of putting Arco gas...
Always put 91 octane Chevron gas (over 4 years straight) but I was really low last week and decided to fill my entire tank with 91 octane Arco gas (only station around at the time). Long story short, the morning after adding Arco gas a "check fule cap" light came on..yes the cap was tight (clicked it over 50 times that week). Light was on for 7 days! Then the following week I added my usual 91 octane Chevron gas and within hours the light went off and has not returned! Not sure if it was the Arco gas or not but just in case I will never gas up at Arco.

if you have a type S i believe this is a common issue. i have an 07 type s and this issue didnt surface till recently for me as well. i believe some sensor or something needs to be replaced, i have not had time to take it into the dealer as of yet, but i believe it should be covered under your emissions warranty if im not mistaken (but im not a hundred percent sure about that)

just got a 07 type s a few months ago, i've had this happen maybe twice? doesn't really bother me enough to take it to a dealer. if it continues i'm sure i'll go in and have the sensor replaced. no worries OP.

ok cool that is what in needed to know ... i think some dealerships are stupid though, because i am in mi right now and i went to acura of troy. they said because its not showing in the cluster right now they cant do anything about it. but i save the mail that comes to the navigation showing them that yes this message did in fact come up, and it is a sensor that needs to be replaced ... i will probably hit up a dealership back in the DC metro when i go home.
