Check Engine Light O2 Sensor???
so my check engine light turned on! I took it to my mechanic and he said it was an O2 sensor. He pointed to which one it was, and gave me a price of $180 to replace! I forgot to ask what the part/part number was though! Dammmit
Can anyone help out with this!? maybe similar problem, part number, and what kind of brand would be best for the buck? Thanks !
Here's the pic of the one he pointed to!

get the ntk brand from ebay,, the top one is around 130$ just did the opisite side it acually called a air fuel ratio sensor i think lower one is o2 sensor wich RE are about 60bucks
ntk is sub of ngk wich makes them for acura anyway, some one correct me if m wrong.
mine was to rich, replaced @unpluged batt and no more light.dont for get nav @ stereo codes! idid it fast enough that they stayed on, or just drive car @ light should go off soon.

Would this happen to be the right part?! I heard Densol is a good brand for this kind of part?

I just read an article (i think on the mobil website?) That said most o2 sensor codes can be false. A lot of time what happens is a bad diode on the alternator can send out an ac current to the ecu (trash in) confuses it and causes it to throw out a false code (trash out). When mechanics change the o2 sensors and reset the faults on the ecu it may take months for it to come back because its based of of variations from the normal readings over a period of time. Im not saying that its the same situation with you, but, an o2 sensor is an expensive false fix.
