some times da engine light comes on if da gas cap is not put on properly after fueling up. Is your engine running rought? If not , you can try taking da cap off and putting it back on and make sure it clicks a few times, your engine light may stay on for a couple of drive cycles, or maybe your cap is not sealing properly dat might trip da light. Good luck.

I had the same exact problem a few months back, my check engine light went on, and we i started the car it was losing power and especially when i gave it some gas it seemed like it was flooded, so i took it to an acura dealership where i used to work at and they told me the same thing i had bad gas, and ive been always putting in 93 premium, but ive been using different gas brands such as citgo, mobil, marathon and i would never just stick to the same one. so they drained all the bad gas from the car, put new gas and problem was still there, it kept mis firing on like 4 different cylinders, so then the same day they knew it was the fuel injectors and replaced all 6 just to be on the safe side, and they also cleaning out the throttle body, and after that they put new gas re-promgramed the computer, deleted the check engine light and it was over, my car was running better than ever, they said it really is not covered under warranty because here in illinois that time we had some bad storms and they said that alot of tl's had problems it was because the gas stations somehow got their gas lines mixed up and all the water from the storms got mixed with the gas. i had about 68,000 but i had acuara care (certified) , so now ive just been sticking with the same gas station everytime i put gas which is BP

That sounds exactly what is happening to me. When I thought jt was the gas at first I would gp to different gas stations to see if that made a difference, but didn't work. Whem I took my car to the dealer the second time they put a treatment in it that suppose to clean the injectors and everything. So would seafoaming ut still work after they already put treatment In it and changed the injectors and plugs? I seriously don't know what to do now. It use to flash but now it's just a solid engine light on. I'm taking it to a shop tomorrow to see what code it reads.
