check engine light on after wash engine bay

check engine light on after wash engine bay

check engine light on after wash engine bay, i reset the ecu no the light off. does that mean the problem still there?

That's a huge assumption on your part. Yes, English is not his first language as noted in his previous posts. However, I for one, appreciate help in trying to understand what he was asking. Crestwood did that without mocking him in any way.

Deepblue: Not sure why the light came on and stayed on. It might very well go out in a day or so.

A guess would be a wet coil pack causing a misfire, which would also explain the rough engine. This will probably fix itself after the coil dries out.

You can go to most any auto parts store and have them read the code for free. It would help us out if we knew what the code number was.

thanks all. yes English is not my first language.

the light is off now so should i still take my car to the delar to check out.

Find out what it was for, and have it reset.
