Check engine light for 10 seconds

On the way home after pulling off the highway i got on it just a little. The check engine light started flashing and after 10 seconds went back off. This is the first time ive seen the light since ive had it and doubt any codes will be there since it went back off. Any clue

Random misfire. Have you had the ECU reflashed? There is a TSB for us '04's (random misfire) I had the local dealer perform the reflash. This was after 3 visits with just the random misfire codes, nothing done by them initially till I found the TSB and asked for it to be done. Haven't had the problem since. It cost ~$50.

^just to clarify.....they (dealer) will reprogram the ECM/PCM (ECU) according to the TSB. Sorry I don't have the TSB #..

And if it's due to the TSB, it's harmless. The ECU is misinterpreting signals and actuating the MIL. There is no actual misfire. But I'd still get it flashed.

Thanks for the heads-up. I've been ignoring this issue for 120,000 miles now. - it only happens to me after I put the pedal on the floor after exiting a long high-speed turn. (like freeway cloverleafs.) I had thought it was oil sloshing around - glad to hear it's nothing.
