Check engine after CAI

Check engine after CAI

i just installed a Fujita cai and followed are the directions the check engine light is on is that normal? and if it is how do you get it off?

Try driving around for at least 5-10 miles or so and it should go away. My CEL was on when I installed my Injen CAI, but a quick trip down the street to autozone and back made it go away.

make sure your sensor is plugged in all the way

If you had that sensor unplugged with power to the car, it can cause a CEL. It'll go away with some time and miles; shouldn't take TOO long.

Ya make sure sensor wire is on i had the similar prob.

just re-set it

whenever I have to work with stuff where any sensors are involved i disconnect my battery or reset the ECU after the work is done
