Question Changing pads on TL S type

Novice to changing pads on the TL S. Noticed that when seperating calipers, fluid leaked. How do I take of the calipers and contain the brake fluid. Appears to be a shut of screww on both sides, but then I will not be able to move the piston. Need some help.

those are the bleeding screws if I remember correctly. You need a piston compressor to put the pistons back, you can rent them for free from autozone, 100 dollar deposit.

You don't remove the calipers.

As he stated he separated the calipers and fluid leaked out, maybe when accessing the pads, he tried to split the caliper, not knowing how simple the replacement might be, and I'm assuming he's speaking of the front pad replacement.

Also, when replacing pads, some undo the bleeder to let the fluid bleed out when the pistons are pushed back into their bores. This makes it much easier, and also allows the addition of new fluid into the master cylinder rather than having the "old" fluid pushed back into the reservoir.

You can probably push the pistons back in with your hands.Just loosen the master cylinder lid.
