Changed battery radio code wont work

I pulled radio and navi codes from acuras website after disconnecting battery. Navi code works but radio code keeps giving me a error message and doesn't work. I tried inputting the code in a parking garage and also in a underwater tunnel with no luck.

Try using this thread to help you enter your radio code.

My problem isnt that my car wont ask for a code. It asks for a code but when I enter my code it reads it as if I am entering the wrong code.

I had this same problem and had to pull a fuse to get it to reset. Don't recall which fuse though, but maybe you can Google it.

sounds like a bad code. sometimes the code is written in the owners manual and also on a sticker in the glovebox. an underwater tunnel huh?

OP, you are using the radio preset keys to enter the radio code, correct?

And the radio code you got from the Acura website is 5-digits, correct?

Thanks for the help guys, I figured it out. It turned out that the device serial code I was using was for the nav unit and although acuras code retrieval website was giving me 2 separate codes, 1 four digit code for the nav and 1 five digit code for what I presumed was the radio, the 5 digit code would not work. What solved the problem was holding down 1 and 6 on the radio preset buttons and pressing the power button. That gave me the serial number for the radio itself which gets displayed on the small info screen above the nav. I then entered that serial number in acuras website and was able to retrieve the right code.
