I own a 2007 Acura TL in the carbon bronze color (dark gray) and I just recently got in a small fender bender but luckily only the hood was damaged. I found a new hood on ebay it is for a 2005 Acura TL (still fits the 2007 TL) but the color names are different, the dark gray for the 2005 TL is called the Anthracite Metallic just looking by the picture it appears to be the same color as mine but it is hard to judge based off the picutre, I just wanted to check if they were the same color gray because I do not want to buy the hood and then see that it does not match. Thank you!

Different names = different colors.

 

I work for Toyota and we have changed the name colors but the not the actual color before so that is not always the case.

 

Buy it and let us know! The pictures posted don't look the same.

Hey man, yeah, they are completely different. CBP has a goldish looking hue to it. AM is a solid gun metal grey.

Even in the photos you posted, you can definitely see how different the colors are.
