Car won't start and nav screen is flashing

Does anyone know if the battery gets super low does the car act weird? I was swapping out my tweeters so those were the only wires I touched in the dash, the car started right before that. I soldered the wires and then went to start it and it was a rapid clicking noise, didn't sound like the starter and my Nav screen was flashing white. I tried it again after putting it on my battery tender and it did the same thing. Third attempt after waiting 20 minutes my CD started playing but the car still wouldn't start, it finally weakly engaged the starter. Has anyone had the car go apeshit on a low battery? I still haven't gotten it to start but I'm gonna wait an hour or so before I try again, really hoping something didn't short.

So everything is fine, car started, I let it run for a while, everything works as it should, it was just the oddest noise I had honestly ever heard from car, everything I've had before was never this freaked out from a dead battery.

very normal....you actually have it lucky because the 07-08's have auto crank feature...so when you try starting it without enough power from battery, it keeps going a bit more even after you release the key. all the gauges and lights would flicker as it tried to start and you dont even want me to get into how the starter sounds lol. you would think my car is haunted if you started my car with a low battery LOL

If temps get that low and the battery is in good condition, maybe consider one of those battery tenders? I've used one before on a car I used to hardly drive during the winter if there was snow or salt on the roads and it worked well.
