Car won't start

Hey everyone! I put my key in the ignition of the car and when I turn it, I have power in the vehicle but the car wont start. I am thinking maybe the starter? I know it is not the battery because I just changed it less then 6 months ago and I also tried to jump the car today and nothing. I have a 2006 tl with 60000 miles. I purchased the extended warranty when I bought the car and was thinking of having it towed to Acura. Im just afraid once I get it to the dealer they are going to try to charge me outrageous prices to fix the car. Just was wondering what you guys thought.

Thanks
Dave

Was the car making a rapid clicking noise when starting? Making no noise?

Rapid clicking means that the battery is dead. No noise means either the ignition switch is bad, the starter is bad OR the starter relay is bad. It's fairly easy to diagnose which one it is at the dealership.

If you have an extended warranty they shouldn't charge you anything but the towing costs (if you don't have it in your plan) and as well your deductible.
