Car unstable above 50mph
I have a problem with the car being unstable at higher speeds. Anytime I go over 50 mph the car feels like it was to fish tail, all over the road. This issue is ten times worse when windy. I went to my dealer and they could not find any issues with the car. Nothing is loose and the car runs perfect according to the dealer. I had them realign the wheels and it did not help. I have an ASpec suspension on the car.
I am planning on visiting a local mechanic to see if he can pin point the problem. Any ideas what it could be?

allignment is first to look for. second would be to inspect bushing for wear allowing play to the suspension while driving.
Front LCA's bushing are usually the first to go, but also inspect the trailing arms in the rear etc. Also uneven tire wear due to over inflating/under inflating, etc is a possible culprit.
Vehicle ever been in an accident possibly affecting any suspension components?

Is this a wheel balance problem - vibrating/shuddering/shaking at 50+ mph?

If not, get the specs from the dealer (and a new alignment if necessary) or have a good suspension shop do an alignment to stock specs if the dealer can't show you the measurements.
There's no difference between A-spec and regular suspension alignment specs, IIRC.
Also visually check the tires-- all four, but esp. the rears-- for bubbles or visible defects indicating belt/tread separation.
G/L.

Agreed, it's a toe problem with the rear wheels or a defective tire.

I just bought a TL from another guy in Akron Ohio... I had the same problem and looked at the tires, they were directional and this guy put them on the wrong side of the car!!! HAHAHA I switched them and it drives fine now...
