It;s Youre rims there bent ... It sucks it happens to new yorkers all the time .. The pothole skill you and when you hit the little ones an think its nt that bad they still bend and with many bends ina rim it causes that shaking driving vibration when you highway drive or slow down...Go to the dealer or a tire place and tell them to balance the rims according to the bend it helps a little bit or buy a new rim

If it was the rims then why would the shaking stop when he gives it gas??? Doesn't make any sense.

Is it normal for the tranny fluid to look like motor oil? I know my buddy who works for mercedes said that there tranny fluid isnt red like normal cars.. Any help??

It could be that the tranny is on its way out. I have no idea how the Acura tranny acts on its last legs but what you describe is exactly what happened to the tranny on my Q45. I doubt its the rims, as the shaking wont stop when you give it gas.

does this only apply to 04s? i have an 06

ive recently started to hear this weird noise at around 1500 - although not only in 5th, and seems to happen when the engine is under stress (going up hills and stuff)

i dont really notice vibration
just this weird semi high noise

I know mine is not the same, but I get a virbration on the steering wheel at around 75 to 80mph. I know it's probably a balancing issue, but I've been back to the tire store 3 times and still the same problem. I bet it's the stinkin Toyo proxes!

Hey, I also have an appt to get my tranny flushed and refilled, they said they cant test drive it to feel the shaking because its a Saturday and they are "Too Busy" to do it.

What mileage is the Tranny Fliuid supposed to be changed? Am I wasting my money doing it now?

Anyone have the TSB 05-017 Front Subframe Dynamic Dampner Kit installed on an 2006 AT yet? I have the symptoms mentioned in the TSB and was wondering if it applied to the 06 too as it was issued for the 05.

TSB in question

Jesstzn,
thanks for bringing that TSB up. I've got that drone only b/w 50 to 60 mph. I made an appointment to get it checked out next Tuesday.
