My car shakes when it is cold and first started. The shaking stops when it is put into drive, or once the car has warmed up. The temperature outside has been above 10 degrees celsius (50 Fahrenheit) so it's not really too cold (for Toronto anyways!!). It shakes very little when at stop lights, so I don't think it is the motor mounts. I am thinking maybe the injectors and engine have gunk and need to be treated with seafoam. Any help/suggestions from fellow aziners is appreciated.

 

This is normal. The ECU retards the timing in order to bring the catalytic converter up to the temperature quickly for the sake of emissions.

 

my car does this too, like said prevoiusly it is normal. the car runs a little rough til it gets to operating temperature. as for the shaking at traffic lights ... do you have your a/c on?
