Car rough idle and other problems

So I have a 2005 acura tl automatic. when i start the car it has a rough idle until it finally settles out. The gas isn't very responsive at time so I'll give it gas and I can hear the engine rev a little before the car actually reacts. While driving I can't push the pedal down too far or else the car's rpm's will stop anywhere from 3200 to 5100. If i try to push the pedal to the floor the car automatically loses power and bogs out. I brought it to a shop and they told me the starting was due to my fuel pump going bad so that was changed. The problem was still there so they said it might be my throttle body so that was also changed and still no fix. I'm sorry if this has been covered before

Any codes?

Clogged exhaust?

The shop should eat the cost of throwing parts at it. This is known as "come backs". You can always open a dispute with the state's Bureau of Automotive Repair.

you or someone will have to go through the car very thoroughly. fix or replace anything that isnt up to OEM standards...meaning, if component is broken or beyond repair...replace it with brand new component...

so, check the fuel pump..since that's your starting point...check to see if it's receiving the correct voltage.
check to see if it's pumping.
check to see if it's pumping the required pressure.

If no codes El_Cheapo might be right. How did you checked the exhaust exactly? Muffler or cat falling apart internally can't be really seen unless you get under the car and start to take things apart.

The cats were taken down and checked to see if clogged or bad

You're going to have to look at live data on a scanner.

more than likely APP sensor. You can't rev the car in park more than 5K RPMS

How should the APP be diagnosed to confirm?

you can try monitoring the accelerator pedal sensor via a scanner tool and make sure the outputs match how much you are pressing the gas pedal. If not then replace the sensor. If you search here you'll find that it has fixed a few issues like yours.
