I have an 05 TL and have been having problems starting it up. I took it to the Honda dealership today because theres no Acura dealership in my area and they told me it was my starter however I dont think thats the case. Whenever I try to start it and it want start the radio and everything comes on. Theres no clicking except when I turn it over and it clicks one time and thats it. Inorder for my car to start I have to either press the brake first and after about 2 trys it will start. When that way doesnt work I noticed whenever I move the gear just a little to the right and then left as it should be it will start. Does this sound like I need a new starter.

 

Is it trying to crank over or does it not do anything?

It is definitely the starter cause same thing happened to me like few weeks ago
