car drives to the right and rattles at high speed

I bought my 04 TL a month ago and am starting to realize 2 things:

1. it drives a little to the right
2. it vibrates unreasonably at higher speed (70+)

i think it could be because of an alignment problem. can anyone offer any input?

Alignment (for pulling to the right) and tire balancing (for steering wheel vibrations). In most scenarios that should do the trick.

my car is vibrating in the steering wheel as well at speeds greater then 70. i had all the tires rebalanced and the problem is still there. im gonna try a wheel alignment but if that fails im guessing a bent rim. other then that i dont know. let us know what happens when u get the alignment.

There is a TSB dealing with pulling/drifting. I am taking mine in tomorrow to get it checked out.

Do a search in the whole 3rd Gen forum. This is a very common problem.

Let me give you some ideas.

For drifting to the left or right.

1. Alignment
2. Tire pressure
3. Directional Tires can cause drifting ( I had mine replaced and it stopped drifting)

For the vibration

1. It could be a bent rim(s)
2. Warped rotor(s). I had mine replaced and it stopped vibrating.
3. Transmission damper might be needed (search for the TSB)
