Water Leak - Passenger Side Rear Floor

I've seen a couple of posts about water under the rear floor mats but haven't seen anything about a cause. I see where an NHTSA service bulletin has been issued over this and I'm having the very same problem. This is NOT the ABS grommet problem causing water under the rear seat. It's a leak coming through the door somehow. Anybody have any info on this????

wlecometo the fourms. I think this could be due to a bad weather seal (rubber seal) around the doors. Also it might be due to another thing such as an accident that may have occured. Also take it to acura if you haven't and have them diagnose it.

It could possibly be a clogged sunroof drain. when this happens, water often leaks into the trunk; however, I've seen it leak into the rear seats before...it's a possibility.

I remember water leaks fron under the rear seat and on the rear floor being from a bad hole plug under the car.
They use plastic plugs in spots, and they can leak...

I have a 06 TL and the same problem. It has only happened once though. Is there any TSB, recalls, or any other documentation I can bring to the dealer? Thanks
