Can I change just a headlamp bulb, or must I buy the whole assembly?
My right side headlight assembly in my '04 has had moisture in it for at least a year. The high beam and low beams are now both out. Fog light still works on that side. Can I just replace the headlamp or do I need to replace the entire expense headlight assembly?

Maybe someone can help me. I just bought a 2007 acura tl. I have been saving every penny for three years. Well I spent everydime I had on it with a burned out light bulb. Had no idea what I was getting into... I can't even trouble shoot if it is ballast ignitor or what because im not about to take off the front bumper.

As far as the moisture is concerned xrochester, you may want to follow the steps in the thread below to separate the lens from the housing. Then reassemble or instead what I would do is once the head light is off, take some hi-temp rated epoxy like from loctite or epoxy meant for plastic, tape off the lens area and housing around where the lens joins the housing and apply the epoxy all the way around and smooth it with your finger. Either way if the moisture is the cause of the burned out headlight you will want to take care of that. Either way none of the removal and assembly is very difficult, just can be time consuming. So just take your time doing it and all will be well.
