A/C suddenly not blowing cold air, not clicking when it starts
I have 2004 TL 60k miles. My A/C was working very well in hot temperature. We also have used it all day today. Suddenly, in the last stop, we started the car and the A/C is only blowing the warm air. I noticed that the A/C is not clicking/Picking up so it just simple on by blowing the warm air. I turn on and off, changed temp but none of them is helping.
Well today is very hot, It is about 110 F today. I was putting the A/C on lo (lowest temp) and highest fan since we have 2 kids in the back seats.
Anyone know what is going on? Any fuse/relay box that I need to check?
Thank you for the inputs.

I just checked the fuses in both fuse boxes and seems to be ok. We also put the gauge on the low side and it on RED. I know it means bad but not sure what is going on. I guess it can be the condensor/kompresor.

I had a similar issue with my Honda and it turned out to be a failing compressor that eventually loaded the system with metal shavings.
Talk about face palm... epic AC fail
Good luck chasing it down, AC fixes are almost as bad as electronics.

What acurasienz says sounds like the compressor is not turning on. That might be a problem with the clutch. Would be a lot cheaper than replacing the compressor. Ask me sometime about the Camaro that ate its compressor 600 miles out of warranty. The old GM never heard of a customer courtesy repair.

I believe there are 2 fuses, one inside and one under the hood. Also a self diagnostic check can be made, but that is to check the electrical circuits, and there is a high pressure release valve on the compressor that will discharge gas if the pressure becomes too high. I would throw a set of gauges on the sytem and go from there. Naturally if low, pressure switch keeps the compressor from activating for safety reasons, add some gas to bring pressures in line and see what the results might be, either the compressor energizes and continues to cool, or then if the gas leaks/discharged from the system more investigation is necessary.

You may just have a slow leak around an o-ring somewhere in the system. As Turbonut stated, once the pressure gets low enough, the compressor will no longer engage (keeps it from destroying itself). You can get an R134a recharging kit at nearly every auto parts store, in fact, I think even Walmart sells them. You could try that first before bringing it to a mechanic -- might even be enough to get you through the summer depending on the severity of the leak. But if there is a slow leak, that's obviously only a temporary solution, and no, I wouldn't recommend the off-the-shelf stop leak products you'll find next to the recharge kits. Eventually you'll have a mechanic you trust take a look at it.
