A/C Issue

Has anyone else experienced this?

When I have my A/C blasting cold air on "Lo" the left vent above the radio blows a lot of air and the right side vent barely blows (I have it on dual zone).

When I raise the temp of the passenger side to 60 degrees, it is blowing warm air. It only blows cold air (barely) if I have it on "Lo".

Seems weird that it would do that...

Your problem is you left it on DUAL ZONE. Now you and your passenger have seperate controls which also include mode settings. What's happening is your passenger settings may be vent/floor as your drivers settings are vents only. Turn off the DUAL mode and let me know if this fixes your issuse.

put it on LO on both sides and press auto. Also try putting it at 67 degrees and Auto as well. The problem is that the air-flaps will remain the way they were if not in AUTO mode. Also on LO or lower temp values, the air is going so fast through the A/C that it doesn't have a chance to cool down as much as it can.

set to auto lo setting. if you have air thats not as cold as the passanger vents then you more than likely have low a/c charge.
keep us updated...

I have an observation, not sure if something is wrong with my A/C

Mine set in Auto (65) sync on

When I first turn the ignition on, the blower starts in full blast ( i can hear it) but surprisingly cold Air only comes from the corner vents ( right next to windows) but not from Center vents.

Same thing also happens with Heat. When outside temp is low and mine set to 68/70, hot air starts coming from the corner vents only not from 2 center vents.

If I change the mode manually, then it does flow from all 4 vents. So I think Auto mode is designed to not to blow air from all 4 vents.

Is there something wrong or this is the design itself?
