A/C Blower

When I start my car the a/c or heat blows through the vents sometimes. I noticed one day when the setting was set on maximum nothing was blowing out of the vents and it was freezing outside. I drove over a speed bump without coming to a crawl and the air kicked on. The jolt of driving over the speed bump got it to work. Another day I start my car and again nothing was blowing out of the vents so I decided to give the top of my steering wheel a hard hit and viola it worked. So I firgured how to get my a/c working but its pretty lame if I have to slam my hand on the top of my steering wheel to get some air blowing.

Any ideas, could it be a loose fuse?

May be a loose fuse. Check it and see. Or could be a loose wire. Hope it's the fuse.

See the thread that I linked below. That thread will show what part number you need to order and a general idea on how-to.

Just be aware that my batting score is 0-1 thus far (see link below where I guessed wrong). With all of my older cars that I have owned, it was always the blower motor going out when your air begins after hitting a bump.

Please post a follow-up. I will either be 0-2 or 1-2.
