As stated in the title, when I press my gas pedal I hear a real annoying buzzing sound coming from under the left hand side of my dashboard. It seems as if there is something hitting the air fan. This occurs between 5mph-75mph. Has this occured to any? I noticed it shortly after I installed my sound system, where I had to poke a whole through a rubber grommit for a cord to get to the battery.

Have you checked if your tire is rubbing against something? Maybe your tires make road noise, but now you can hear it in the cabin because of the whole you drilled...

 

Nope its not the tire. It's something just under the dash, not sure what it is but I have a feeling something is just touching one of the fans under there. Again this happens only when I accelerate. Odd and annoying.
