Well I recently changed out the stock bulbs for a pair of CBIs. After installation I noticed that there was so "light bleed" so I took a look at it again today and noticed the "clamp" that holds the bulb in wasn't holding it in right. So I adjusted it and problem solved.
I was driving on my way home and thanks to the quality of CA roads it seems it may have adjust again. The part of the clamp that's doesn't seem to be holding well is the right side clamp (looking from the back). Anyone know a good way to fix this issue? I have trouble completely taking out the headlight because I think the intake system is in the way, but I got enough room to change out bulbs.
I don't think your lights are out of alignment since both cut-offs are of equal height. Are you sure the bulb is seated in properly/all the way? I'm thinking this is what's causing the glare outside of the normal beam

Ok alignment may have been wrong word, but the bulb isn't seated in properly due to the clamp not holding it down. From what I could tell, it was easily moved and I think a bump caused the right side of the clamp (aa it seemed a bit loose to me) got undone.
The retaining spring. Yes I was sure it was properly clipped in when I installed, but noticed when plugging the ballast back in (twice) the spring came out. I don't think I bent it out of shape when taking the OEM bulb out.
