Broken Rearview Mirror and Sagging headliner

This weekend I took a road trip up to Tennessee with a few friends, who were kind enough to point out some problems with my car.

The first one is my rear view mirror. The liquid that is in it almost looks low or something. im assuming that it works by filling up the dark liquid between glass and a mirror. there is a bubble towards the top of the mirror where you can see that it looks like its low. I gently pressed on it, and you can see the liquid take up a bit of space that the bubble consumed. I dont a see leak anywhere, or any of the liquid. Any idea of what it might be, how to fix it, or if it will require a replacement?

The next thing is my headliner. My car has just a tick under 93k. Im not what the typical time that a headliner lasts, but I feel like mine is premature. Its sagging by all the handgrips, on the passengers side above the seatbelt area, where the side meets the roof, and in the rear corner passenger area between the side and the roof. Is there any quick fix or will the whole headliner have to be replaced. And if so, how much do you guys estimate it will cost.

^Hey, might want to wrap that mirror up with a ziploc bag or something to prevent that liquid from getting on your dash/stereo/etc.... It needs to be replaced asap. I had the same problem a little over a month ago, luckily caught it quick, and replaced it. As fas as the headliner, I have no idea. Maybe some clips or something that could be replaced rather than the whole headliner.

I know the dealer wanted close to $110 for the mirror, but I got it for less, and installed for free, total time ~30min.

Do you remember how much you payed for it? Im looking at http://estore.honda.com (I think they give a discount for forum members), and its showing $93.26 for the part shown below (#7)

Yeah, it was around $75. Pretty easy removal/install, through the bezel around the dome lights/moonroof switch.

Off Topic-Is that your Lotus in your avatar? Nice!

Do you remember where you ordered it from by any chance? $20 is a difference that is worth caring about for me. Heck, that's half of the cost to repair the broken cruise button

As far as the Lotus, just a good pal of mine with alot of really fast cars. We get together every once and a while and we all wash each others cars. its a wicked car. I dont know how he gets in it (being like 6'1"). I have enough of a hard time getting in and only being 5'8". But once your in, its better than everyone talks them up to be. heres a slightly larger version and another pic.

^Nice!! As far as the mirror, I have a few "friends" at the dealer, and mentioning the forums got me the discount, and they just removed and replaced for me. I would check out the vendors on here, or acuraoemparts online, and see if your local dealer will match the price so you don't have to pay shipping. The Lotus is cool! I have a buddy with a few newer Ferrari's, and is awaiting his new 458 Italia this month or next.

Just noticed your in Tampa!! What dealer do you go to?

this?

And is it possible to just open the mirror and drain the liquid? With all the things I'm going to have to do to this damn tl, $90 for a mirror is just not in the budget right now.
