Brembo pads thin?

I recently bought an '06 TL manual which I love. As part of the dealer "certification", new front brake pads were to be installed. You can plainly see the wear indicators on these brakes, and there's only about 3/16" gap max. between them and the rotors. Either these are extremely thin pads or the dealer passed on the pad replacement. The car has 16,000 miles and everything else is perfect. Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks.

keep in mind, to get an accurate pad depth reading you should take the wheel off and view it from the top of the caliper. Looking through the spokes at the inside of the caliper can be misleading. The only way to be 100% sure? Pull the pad.

Acura deems that the Brembo pads need replacing at 2mm pad thickness. So if you have more than 2mm of pad left in between the wear indicator and the rotor, then it's not time to change it out yet, per Acura.

However, it is up to you to change them out whenever you want.
