Braking Issue

The other day I was pulling my car out of the garage and as I tried to back out the car was practically stuck...and then when it moved it made somewhat of a loud noise (almost like a crack or something)...then when I started driving there was serious vibrations when doing moderate to light braking (not hard breaking). I figured it was just warped rotors or grooved rotors, but when I looked at the front they seemed to be perfect and when I looked at the rear they were grooved, but no more then they have been in the past. I dont drive the car much right now, but the last time I did drive it (about 3 weeks ago) there were no issues. When it is in the garage, no one drives it and it sits in there in neutral with no parking break (perfectly level garage). Anyone had this issue or can help me?

Did you wash your car or did it rain or was the weather really humid? And did you use your emergency brake when you put it to bed for the night?

If so, your pads "stuck" to your rotors and what you heard was them "breaking loose".

Hint. After washing your car, drive it through the neighborhood for about a 1/4 mile while dragging the brakes some. Also drag your emergency brake as well. This will heat things up and dry things out, virtually eliminating what you experienced.

your tires may have also flat-spotted while it sat there... they are slightly out of round .. once they warm up (a little highway trip) they'll stop vibrating so bad on braking...

I wish that is what it was, but I did drive it on the highway and it never really went away, plus I really dont feel it in my steering wheel, only the pedal...

Didnt wash it the last time I drove it (when there was no problem), the weather hasnt been really humid at all, and I dont use my emergency break in the garage, cause there are piece on the floor that keep the car from moving anywhere...hahahaha...thats why I didnt understand that I had experienced "breaking loose"

The last time that I drove it I had just had the Summer Tires put back on, is it possible that my buddies shop over tightened the lugs and warped the rotors?

went to the shop and fixed the issue...when I was "breaking loose" the pad left an imprint on the rotor and we had to resurface them and the problem was gone
