Angry Brakes squealing 1 month after install

I installed my Brakemotive brakes and rotors about a month ago and everything has been great so far. I broke them in just like I was supposed to and applied CRC disc brake quiet on the backs of the pads. I haven't driven my car in 2 days, but when I backed out of my garage this morning there was a very, very loud squeal. The temp in the garage is about 65 degrees, so not too cold. It may have rained the last time I drove the car, but that shouldn't matter. Any idea why it's squealing? I made a few hard stops immediately after pulling the car out and there isn't any squeaking right now, still, it's annoying to get that so soon after installation.

Updated: 2 hours after parking at home, they squeaked again when backing up

re-grease every shim, every moving part, except for the pad material of course.

^+1. Get down there, clean everything up and re-grease all contact points except the pad material and rotor.

Same issue week after install, Tore it all back down and with brake cleaner and wrages wiped everything and all contact surfaces (except the inside of the pad that touches the rotor)wire brushed them then re-greesed everything. The prob i found that i didnt notice when installing was the rear brake caliper slides were seized! after hours of beating on the slides trying to get them out i gave up and replaced the rear brackets and slides. all good since.
Make sure you re-greese your caliper slides every time you do a brake job. 60 bucks each plus price of set of slides and boots if you cant get the slides out.

Hope this helps Good Luck

i dunno, i kind of think some squeal especially when reversing is normal. The pad material is applied for the most part when the car is moving forward. The "issue" is even worse after rain or a car wash due to the layer of rust.

I dont mind it too much really, but I have brembos and attribute it to them being "high performance"

anyways just my 2 cents. Its not like you're spending a large amount of time reversing (or maybe you do?).

I park my car in my garage which is about 60-65 degrees, hence the minor rust buildup, especially if I don't drive the car for a couple of days. My pads hadn't been replaced in over 50k miles, which is why I made the switch to Brakemotive. My brakes made a minor squeal before I replaced them, but the noise is 10x louder now.

So far so good. Just got done reapplying grease all over the backs of the front pads, drove my car around the block and no squealing. Hopefully it will remain this way so I don't have to do the back pads as well.

All that grease seemed to do the job, as I didn't have any squealing all day

If they squeal after being installed properly, then simply bed them in again. 3 or 4 hard braking decellerations from 65 to 10 (don't come to a stop) should do it.

Had a minor squeak yesterday when backing up. I've put about 1000 miles on them since install. Would it still be ok to bed them again?
