2006TL in need of brakes. I like to turn a wrench everynow and then. Anything I need to know before I change the brake pads? Specialty tools, recommendation of pads ect ?? Any help would be great..

 

6 speed or A/T?

 

i have an AT, and this is what i needed...to the best of my knowledge:
-impact wrench/screwdriver
-mallet to hit impact wrench
-WD40 to loosen tiny screw holding rotor on
-ratchet set
-breaker bar
-torque wrench
-caliper pusher tool (i bought this but i know some use some form of clamp device)
-metal hanger to hold caliper up while changing rotor
-brake grease/lube
-brake cleaner
