Unhappy Brake job

Hi guys about 3 days ago my car starts making some noise coming from the tires ussually when the breakes need to be changed now the sound its extreme loud so im changing the brake pads my question is should i change pads and rotors or get the rotors resurfaced and how much should i paid to get the work done with parts and labor ? im going to call later on to this place on chicago they just fixed acuras and hondas really good place but later on they closed right now so whats a reasonable price to have this done?

Depends on the condition of the rotors. If grooved or out of tolerance they will need to be replaced, but if in good condition they need not be machined, just new pads installed. Price wise, it's certainly depends on the parts purchased as front pads can be had for as little as $10 to $150 for aftermarket performance, and the same can be said for the rotors, $35 per pair to over $200. Likewise, labor can run $50 hour to $125.

Time to do the job yourself as it's quite easy with only a few tools needed.

yes i just call the sho they use only oem parts honda they told me 120 labor and parts included oem parts they just especialized on hoda and acura for all the pads, but the noise its terrible right now i just notice they are the back ones so i have an appoiment wednesday to get it checked another question should i still running the car and how long can i do it because its my only car and i need to dropp and pick up my son from school and i dont want to break something else like a caliper ?

You won't have any problems driving the car. Even if the pads were completely gone, the metal to metal will stop the car. If could be just the low pad warning tab riding on the rotor and that will make quite a racket.
