Body shake?

So I went searching post and forums about my body shake, People said it will be something in rear most likely tires...
At the tire shop and they check both tires and they said that they were nothing wrong with it, I'm changing one that the thread are bad, but what else can it be?? Tires are checked off, shocks?

Where are you feeling the shaking, the seat or the steering wheel? At certain speeds or highway speeds or all speeds? During acceleration or braking or both?

Does putting the car in Neutral stop it? Need to give us a bunch more info.

Usually tires that are not balanced properly will cause the car to shake. Go to a discount tire store or any store that uses a HUNTER ROAD FORCE BALANCER. It costs a bit ($20-25 a tire) but they put force on the tire to eliminate any and all vibrations unlike other balancing machines. Be sure to do all 4 wheels and tires.

Also check your rims for bends. If you have a bent rim it'll cause vibrations at certain speeds that fade in and out.

I replaced one tire that seems like it was low thread , due to a bad axle, I balanced all tires today, the guy showed me that everything was perfect, no flat spot, I thought I broke a band in the tire but nothing. Sometime I feel body wobble at low speed...

What gets me is cause it's sometimes

Still switched the tire, feels a little better but it's still there, honestly it's sometimes, driving on highway the steering wheel shakes slightly, but for me noticeably of course.

I changed all brakes and rotors so no shaking at braking..

I would have to do the neutral thing to see if it goes away..

I checked twice on all bushings front and back.. Everything is perfect except for sway bar links up front, that's all

Think front main motor mount will do this shaking?

It's killing me enjoyment of driving the car, cause I don't want anything to happen while driving, had to many things happen to me while driving...also the faster I go the more noticeable I feel the shake, I'm thinking maybe alignment is due

So your car only shakes if you are moving right? Not when you are idle?

You mentioned a bad axle so I assume it was changed. Did they do just one, or both? Were OEM parts used?...Was there a vibration before it was changed? If not then how soon after

Sounds to me like CV axle issue, and all motor mounts should be checked as well...

Yes it has been changed, not with OEM but brand new after market...I do not get any shaking while accelerating or nothing while turning, no knock/clicking..

That's why I think maybe it has to do with alignment, maybe the bad axle put the alignment out of wack

Mine did the same thing after I replaced my axle with a brand new axle, it doesn't do it all the time and at certain times it does seem to get worse. For my case, I am pretty sure it's the axle. I bought a new raxles axle which comes with damper like the OEM one does but haven't put it in yet.

Alignment won't cause a shake. I agree with csmeance about having your tires checked for excessive road force. I think you've got a ply separation, or a shifted belt that won't show up unless the tires are under load. The only way I know to properly check them is with a Hunter road force balancer. This machine can also check your wheels for out of round.

Ugh I want to live with it until I feel it at highway speeds, no noise no nothing, just vibrates it's driving me crazy, I will be picking up the car tomorrow to just check everything, including shocks

mine used to shake a little when driving. replaced all 4 tires and all 4 wheels. still would shake until i realized that the front hubs had rust and would not let the wheel seat properly on the hub causing an unbalance wheel shake. got some 400grit sandpaper and some grease, cleaned up the hubs and reinstalled the wheels. smooth as glass now. I've been working on cars for over 20+ years and completely overlooked the hubs that had some simple excessive rust/oxidation from the dissimilar metals

i def look at that and re do the wheel pattern at 80fl lbs make sure the people that did my balance did that right, and look at the rust if there is any
